How do I know what size of bracelet to order?

Take a measuring tape and measure your wrist at its smallest point. Take a true wrist measurement-not too tight or too loose. Then, add 1 inch to that measurement. Medical ID bracelets do NOT fit like the average bracelet. Remember, the tag does not bend. So, you will need to add an inch to your wrist measurement. Be sure to measure carefully as there is a £5 return shipping and handling fee.

This only applies to the beaded bracelets-not the men's watches, fun and fab kids ID and sports wristbands as these are all one size and adjustable.

What can I have engraved on my medical ID tag?

Engraved medical tagYou can engrave anything you’d like. For example, you can engrave "Diabetic”, or "Allergic to penicillin.” Anything that a paramedic would benefit to know in treating you in an emergency situation.

You can engrave up to 4 lines of engraving with a maximum 25 characters per line.  We recommend that you put the following:-

Line 1 - Your name
Line 2 - Your medical condition or allergy
Line 3 - Any medication you are taking
Line 4 - An ICE (in case of emergency) contact name and mobile number

For example:-

Janet Doe
Type II Diabetic
Insulin Dependant
ICE:  John Doe 07944 123 1234

If you need help with the wording for your medical tag let one of our experienced team help you - call 0845 125 9539 between 9.30am and 5.30pm (UK time).

Are they interchangeable?

Yes.  Our Medical ID bracelets are mostly interchangeable as they have two clasps that hook onto the Medical ID Tag. You need to merely unclasp the tag and reclasp it to the new strand. Why not pick several strands from our "Pick a Strand" section and have a different style to suit your mood or your outfit?

Where should I wear my Medical ID Bracelet?

You should wear your Medical ID Bracelet on your left arm as that is the arm they normally use to check your pulse.

What happens if my bracelet does not fit or breaks?

All of our bracelets have a six month guarantee. If it breaks for any reason, we will restrand it for free one time, subject to a £5 shipping and handling charge. After the six month period, the charge is £10.00 plus a £5 shipping and handling fee. If you ordered the wrong size, return it to us along with the £5 return shipping and handling fee and instructions as to the size you need.

Should I wear my bracelet in the shower or while swimming?

Although your bracelet is made to the highest standards and from high quality beads, it is still strung on jewellery wire. Therefore, it is NOT recommended that you wear it while swimming or showering.
